Love Bug

Well, time to get ready for the next holiday!  I wanted to try out my new cartridge Create a Critter.  I debated for a long time whether to purchase this cartridge or not, but after I kept seeing all of the cute projects others have made I caved.  This is the first time I am also putting ribbon and a bow on a card.

Make a Wish

Time for the first challenge of the year!  I used the Mojo Monday sketch.   I find working from a sketch so much easier, so this card came together fairly quickly.  I used paper from Michaels, bling from the $1 store, and the Sweet Treats cricut cartridge for the wording.

Happy Birthday!

It is so nice to have some time off at Christmas!  I have not left my home for the past three days!  Who needs to leave when I have all the scrapbooking supplies to keep me busy for several months.  Well, okay a 50% Michaels coupon is a good reason to venture into the cold frigid air.

Anyway, here is a card I made for my brother's birthday next month.  The inspiration for the card was the Mojo Monday sketch. As you can tell from my posts I love the Cricut. I used the Sweet Treats cartridge for the cupcake and Accent Essentials for the rosette.  I inked the paper using Tim Holtz distressing inks. Pirate

My daughter has a birthday party to go to this weekend, so I decided to make the card.  I found some pirate paper at the $1 store so decided to go with the pirate theme.  The figure is from the Cricut cartridge paper dolls (one of my favourite cartridges).
